Aug 25, 2017 · The problem is the Comcast modem is handing out IPv6 DNS to Comcast's DNS servers which is resulting in traffic trying to go out 74.123.123.45 and back in instead of the internal routing that is setup; despite the DHCP scope handing out the IPv4 DNS; its like the IPv6 is overriding IPv4.

While my IPv4 address does not change often, when it does my WSE 2012R2 box is able to detect the change and update my domain provider accordingly.
